Dr. Luis S. Navarro

Dr. Luis S. Navarro was born and raised on the south side of Chicago, Illinois.  After high school, he attended the University of Texas-Pan American where he graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry.  He was accepted to the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry where he finished his doctoral studies in June of 2006 with honors from the Beta Sigma Kappa international Optometric honor society.

Dr. Navarro is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist, the highest level of licensing at which Optometry can be practiced in the state of Texas.  Dr. Navarro is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.

Dr. Navarro practices full scope optometric services with special interests in pediatrics, glaucoma diagnosis and management, diagnosis of diabetic eye disease, specialty contact lens fittings, therapeutic, and clinical optometry.  Dr. Navarro is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Texas Optometric Association, and the Rio Grande Valley Optometric Society.

Dr. Kriselda Garza

Dr. Kriselda Garza was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley.  She attended the University of Texas-Pan American and received her Bachelor of Science degree with a recognition of Magna Cum Laude in 2001.

Dr. Garza continued her studies at the University of Houston College of Optometry and received her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2005. She is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association and the Rio Grande Valley Optometric Society.

Dr. Lorena Flores-Hernandez

Dr. Lorena Flores-Hernandez was born and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. After graduating from PSJA High School in 1997, she attended Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. As a member of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Class of 2001, she graduated with honors (Cum Laude) and received a Bachelors degree in Biology. While attending Texas A&M University she was involved in several organizations including the Texas Aggie Recruitment Committee and the Lambda Alpha chapter of Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority Inc.

Upon graduating from Texas A&M, Dr. Flores-Hernandez continued her studies at the University of Houston College of Optometry, receiving her Doctorate of Optometry degree in May 2005. She is a member of the Texas Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, and the Rio Grande Valley Optometric Society.
