Dr. Luis S. Navarro was born and raised on the south side of
Chicago, Illinois. After high school, he attended the
University of Texas-Pan American where he studied Biology,
Chemistry, and Theatre. He was accepted to the Inter American
University of Puerto Rico School of Optometry one semester
before he was to graduate from Pan American.
Dr. Navarro
finished his doctoral studies in June of 2006 with honors from
the Beta Sigma Kappa international optometric honor society.
Upon completion of the degree of Doctor of Optometry, Dr.
Navarro received specialized training at the Southern College
of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee, to become an Optometric
Glaucoma Specialist.
Dr. Navarro
practices full scope optometric services such as pediatrics,
glaucoma management, therapeutic, and clinical optometry. Dr.
Navarro is a member of the American Optometric Association,
the Texas Optometric Association, and the Rio Grande Valley
Optometric Society.
