A. Standard anti-reflective coating reduces reflections to a minimum for crisper clear vision in all lighting situations, greater protection against scratches, and repels dust and dirt so lenses stay clearer longer. B. Blue light filter coatings protect from presumed harmful blue lights emitting from digital devices such as computers, tablets, mobile devices, and televisions. In addition, blue light filter coatings help reduce tired and dry eyes from looking at your digital devices. C. Transition lenses darken to gray, brown, or blue with ultraviolet light and provide ultraviolet protection and also protect your eyes from presumed harmful blue lights emitting from digital devices.

A. CR-Plastic is a standard lens B. Polycarbonate lenses are lighter, thinner, ultraviolet protected, scratch-resistant, and impact-resistant but *not scratch-proof* C. High Index Lenses 1.67 and 1.74 are up to 35%-50% lighter and thinner and the thinnest lenses available for higher prescriptions. D. Trivex lenses are sharper and more clear but not available for all prescriptions.

Wash your hands before washing your lenses with water and soap like Dawn Dish Soap or something similar that does not contain moisturizers or bleach. Avoid bar soap. Use tap water to moisten your lenses. Use the soap on your fingertips and rub the lenses gently to remove dirt and oil deposits. Rinse lenses to remove soap suds. Apply EVC lens spray cleaning solution to lenses while the lenses are still wet. Dry the water droplets and lens spray solution with a clean EVC professional lens cloth. Wash your cloth weekly. Never clean your lenses with abrasive household cleaners that contain ammonia or bleach, as this will cause peeling on your lens surfaces or glare coating. Keep your eyeglasses and clean cloth in a case when not being used. One last thing, if you clean your lenses while they are dry the dust trapped between the lens and lens cloth will scratch the lens. For best results and to keep your lenses scratch-free, do not use t-shirts, napkins, or tissues to clean your lenses while they are dry throughout the day.

In addition to saving you money, your medical insurance can be used to diagnose and treat eye related diseases such as: Cataracts, Glaucoma, Macular Degeneration and Diabetic Retinopathy. An eye exam is an integral part of your overall health and typically involves dilation, refractive exam and a prescription for glasses or contacts and these services will only be covered by your vision plan.
