Covid-19 Protocol

Covid-19 Office Protocol

We want to make sure you are safe in our office.  Most of the staff have been vaccinated and
undergo regular COVID-19 testing.  All staff is required to continue to wear masks.  We will limit
the number of bodies in the waiting areas and exam rooms.  Please continue to wear a mask and
practice social distancing in our office.

  1. We encourage you to login to the patient portal and fill out all pre-exam information such as
    address, phone number and email, medical history, medications and pharmacy.  To access your
    patient portal please contact our front desk at 9563835581 and provide an email.
  2. If you are picking up glasses or contacts text us at 9562679753 and we can deliver them to
    your car.  
  3. Only the doctor, scribe, and the patient will be permitted in the exam room.  If the patient is an
    underage child, only one parent will be allowed in the exam room.
  4. If you are bringing more than one child we encourage you to bring one adult for each child to
    allow us to separate the children in different exam rooms so that we can finish faster.  
  5. If you are bringing more than one child and wish to keep them together we have two large
    rooms that are subject to availability (we do not recommend this as it takes longer to do more
    than one eye exam per room).
  6. If you are worried that you have COVID-19 and wish to get a test we will provide one for you at
    a fee of $65.  We are not a testing site, this is a service that is only available to our patients.
  7. If you arrive without a mask you can purchase one from us.  If you refuse to wear a mask then
    we will refuse to provide services and products.
  8. During your exam your mask will be taped from the top to limit the lenses of the instruments
    from getting foggy and so that you are not breathing on our doctors and staff.  Please keep the
    tape on until the exam is over.
  9. We will continue to disinfect surfaces frequently.
    10.  Our optical frames will be disinfected after anyone tries them on.  
    11.  We encourage you to try-on our frames virtually and make a wish list.  The frames that you
    like will be reserved until you try them on in-store.
  10. If you need a replacement for broken or damaged glasses we can now do this over the phone
    if we still have a similar frame and you have a prescription that is not older than 1 year you can
    text us 9562679753 and we will process the order.
  11. If you have a balance or need to pay for an order this can also be done over the phone by
    calling 956-383-5581.
