At Edinburg Eye Center, our Doctors of Optometry are trained to provide comprehensive eye exams for your children.  If your child tends to get close to the television, tablet, or mobile device or if you notice your child squinting his/her eyes to see better, or if you notice that your child’s grades are low, we recommend that you schedule an appointment with one of our optometrists.  All of our examination rooms are computer-equipped to determine the appropriate eyeglass prescription for your child.  Many parents are concerned that their child will not be able to get an eye exam because they cannot answer which lens helps them see better, “What’s better?  One or two?”  However, our optometrists are trained to obtain the correct glasses prescription without asking for responses from your child.  All children need an eye exam before entering school.  At Edinburg Vision Center we welcome children of all ages: from newborns and infants to teenagers.  We can conveniently fit your children into contact lenses so that they can play sports comfortably.
